Mobile operators' requirements
The European Union now requires mobile operators within the EU to reduce their roaming rates. Charges are now capped at 56c for making calls within the European Union and back to Ireland, and 27c for receiving a call within the EU from anywhere in the world. All operators in Ireland have adjusted their roaming rates to meet European Union requirements. But who says 3 should stop there? We are slashing our rates even further - and passing the savings on to you. |

The country you’re visiting just has to have a 3 network. So far, there are 3 networks in the UK, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong, and Australia. Simply select the 3 network when you arrive and you’re done.
You can use your flexi-units to call or text back to Ireland and browse the internet. Once you’ve used your allowance, you’ll be charged at the prices below:
